“Jai Shree Ram” – Keshav Maharaj send wishes for Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya


Senior South African spinner Keshav Maharaj has conveyed his best wishes to the Indian community ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, scheduled for Monday, January 22.

In a recent Instagram story, Maharaj extended his heartfelt wishes a day prior to the highly anticipated ceremony.

Keshav Maharaj said “Namaste everyone. I just want to wish my Indian community in South Africa for the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya tomorrow. May there be peace, harmony, and spiritual enlightenment to all. Jai Shree Ram.”

Notably, the 33-year-old spinner has roots in the Indian community, with his ancestors hailing from Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Maharaj, who has visited various iconic temples during his trips to India, holds a special connection with the country of his ancestry.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Mandir has garnered significant attention, and invitations have been extended to several renowned cricketers. Among those expected to attend the ceremony in Ayodhya on Monday are cricket legends such as Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid, and Anil Kumble.
