KL Rahul ruled out, Jasprit Bumrah returns for the 5th IND vs ENG Test in Dharamshala.

Senior Indian batsman KL Rahul will not be participating in the upcoming fifth and final Test against England in Dharamsala, set to commence on March 7. Rahul has been sidelined since the first Test in Hyderabad due to discomfort in his right quadriceps.

On the other hand, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who was granted leave from the Indian squad during the fourth Test in Ranchi, is set to rejoin the team for the concluding Test in Dharamsala. Bumrah’s absence in Ranchi was a strategic decision by Team India to manage his workload effectively.

Additionally, all-rounder Washington Sundar has been released from the squad. He is slated to represent Tamil Nadu in their Ranji Trophy 2024 semifinal clash against Mumbai, scheduled to commence on March 2.
