Mark Boucher Reveals Suryakumar Yadav Wanted To Bat At No.4 Despite Injury.

Suryakumar while catching the ball at the boundary, was hit by the ball above his eyeand was forced off the field to receive treatment.

Mumbai Indians coach Mark Boucher revealed that Suryakumar asked to bat at his usual number 4 spot despite having swelling around his eye.

Mark Boucher said – “Suryakumar Yadav did get hit in the field & his eye was starting to swell. He had to ice it. I came in thinking, we move him down in order. He meets me in the bathroom and says ‘Coach, actually I want to bat 4. For me, that’s not shying away from anything”.
