Yash Dayal got ill and has lost 8-9kg of weight after Rinku Singh hitted him 5 sixes.

Yash Dayal, has been absent from games following a disappointing performance during a match against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2023. During the match, Dayal was tasked with defending the total score when KKR required 28 runs from the last five balls. Regrettably, Dayal’s nerves got the best of him, and he ended up conceding 30 runs in five deliveries after being hit by Rinku Singh for five sixes.This performance has resulted in Dayal’s absence from the game. Gujurat Titans captain Hardik Pandya was asked about Dayal.

Hardik Pandya said “I can’t confirm that (on his chances of playing again this season). He fell ill and lost 7-8 kilos after that match. There was a spread of viral infection during that period and also due to the pressure he had faced, his condition is presently not good enough to take the field. Someone’s loss is someone’s gain at the end of the day. It is going to take a long time before we see him on the field,”
