Virat Kohli Says “We Deserve To Lose”, After RCB VS KKR Game.
Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered a 21-run defeat against the Kolkata Knight Riders at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Following the loss, the stand-in skipper of RCB, Virat Kohli, expressed disappointment with his team’s performance and criticized their fielding. Additionally, Kohli noted that their middle-order batsmen underperformed yet again, contributing to the team’s loss.During the match, KKR skipper Nitish Rana was given two lifelines as he was dropped twice in the first innings. The 29-year-old went on to score an impressive 48 runs off just 21 deliveries, a performance that turned the game around for the Knight Riders. Kohli acknowledged that these dropped catches ultimately cost his team the match, marking their fourth defeat in the ongoing IPL 2023 season.
Virat Kohli said “To be honest we handed over the game to them. We deserved to lose. We weren’t professional enough. We bowled well but fielding was not up to standard. This was a freebie handed over to them. In the field, we dropped two chances, that cost us 25-30 runs. When batting, we set us ourselves up very well, but then (suffered) four-five soft dismissals,”
