The Ashes 2023 1st Test :England captain Ben Stokes has expressed “no regrets” regarding his team’s highly-debated Day 1 declaration, despite ultimately losing the first Test of the Ashes 2023. Stokes defended his decision, stating that he saw it as an opportunity to put the Australian batters under pressure in the final moments of the day. He further affirmed that England would continue to make such bold moves in the future.
