Netherland Qualifies For ICC World Cup 2023 India, Scotland Are Out!

In the knockout encounter at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo to grab the spot for ICC World Cup 2023, Netherlands emerged victorious over Scotland by four wickets in their ICC World Cup Qualifier Super Sixes Stage fixture. The Netherlands successfully chased down a target of 278 runs, reaching 278/6 in 42.5 overs, thanks to a magnificent century by Bas de Leede, who scored 123 runs. Michael Leask was the standout performer with the ball for Scotland, taking two wickets.

Scotland, batting first, posted a total of 277/9 in their allotted 50 overs. Brandon McMullen played a remarkable innings, smashing a century with a score of 106. The Dutch bowler, Bas de Leede, showcased his all-round skills by claiming a five-wicket haul to limit Scotland’s scoring opportunities.

Netherlands and Sri Lanka are the two teams who will travel to India for ICC World Cup 2023.
