The young batsman, Tilak Varma, played a pivotal role in India reaching a total of 152/7.India faced an early setback, losing Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav with only 18 runs on the board in 3.3 overs.

However, Tilak Varma showcased his batting resilience, scoring 51 runs off 41 balls. He formed a crucial partnership of 42 runs with Ishan Kishan, stabilizing the innings after the initial wickets fell.Ishan Kishan contributed 27 runs off 23 balls before getting dismissed, while Sanju Samson managed to score 7 runs at a run-a-ball pace.

Hardik Pandya also made a valuable contribution, adding 24 runs off 18 deliveries, and Axar Patel scored 14 runs off 12 balls.Overall, India put up a competitive total on the board thanks to Tilak Varma’s impressive performance with the bat.
