Babar Azam and Pakistan Team arrive in India for ICC World Cup 2023.

Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, received a warm welcome from enthusiastic local fans as he and his teammates arrived at Hyderabad Airport ahead of the highly anticipated ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in India. The Pakistan squad initially embarked on their journey in Dubai before making their way to the capital city of Telangana.

Hyderabad will serve as the starting point for Babar Azam and his team’s preparations for the World Cup, hosting their first two matches of the tournament. Additionally, they are scheduled to participate in two practice matches against New Zealand and Australia on September 29 and October 3 in the same city.

This tour marks a significant moment for the Pakistan cricket team as they are visiting India for the first time in seven years. Their previous visit to Indian shores was during the 2016 T20 World Cup. Notably, this tour is the maiden India tour for several high-profile players, including Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and others.
