(Watch) Virat Kohli got disappointed and frustrated as he misses to finish the game for India against Australia in World Cup.

In India’s World Cup opener against Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday, October 8, Virat Kohli once again demonstrated his exceptional cricketing prowess. In pursuit of a target of 200 runs, the right-handed batsman delivered a brilliant performance, scoring 85 runs off 116 balls, which included six well-executed boundaries. Kohli’s partnership with KL Rahul, worth 165 runs, played a pivotal role in the recovery of the Men in Blue after they found themselves at a precarious 2/3.

Kohli received an early reprieve when he was on 12 runs, courtesy of a dropped catch caused by confusion between Alex Carey and Mitchell Marsh at square leg off the bowling of Josh Hazlewood. Seizing this opportunity, the 34-year-old cricketer added an additional 73 runs to his and India’s scorecard before ultimately being dismissed by Hazlewood, caught out by Marnus Labuschagne at mid-wicket.

Virat Kohli was looking too disappointed and frustrated as soon as he started walking off, he was also found disheartened and annoyed for not finishing the game and getting of the century.
