Cameron Green set to move in RCB from to Mumbai Indian via trade f 17 CR, IPL 2024.

The initial acquisition of Green by Mumbai Indians in the previous season cost them ₹17.5 crore. Reports suggest that the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) engaged in an all-cash transaction, resulting in a subtraction of ₹17.5 crore from their IPL 2024 Auction budget, which originally stood at ₹40.75 crore.

Cameron Green is recognized as one of the premier all-rounders in the current international cricket landscape. His versatile skills make him stand out, as he is not only capable of consistently bowling at speeds of 140 kmph but also possesses the ability to make significant contributions with the bat in the top order. Mumbai Indians had invested substantially in Green, securing his services for ₹17.5 crore during the IPL 2023 Auction.In his debut season with Mumbai Indians, Cameron Green showcased his prowess by amassing 452 runs and taking six wickets. Despite his impressive performances, the franchise opted to part ways with him following the acquisition of Hardik Pandya from the Gujarat Titans. Before the trade for Hardik Pandya, Mumbai Indians had a remaining budget of ₹15.25 crore after releasing some players.The strategic move to bring in Hardik Pandya was finalized through an all-cash deal worth ₹15 crore. This transaction further necessitated the trade-out of Cameron Green to balance the team dynamics and financial considerations. If Mumbai Indians had retained Green, their remaining budget would have been reduced to a mere ₹25 lakh.
