‘Ahmedabad Have Security Issues And Has Political Angle’ Says PCB Cheif Over IND-PAK Match In World Cup.

Najam Sethi, the Chief of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has criticized the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) decision to hold the India vs. Pakistan World Cup match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Sethi has alleged that the move is politically motivated and is aimed at discouraging Pakistan’s participation in the tournament.

Sethi has expressed his displeasure about the decision to hold the high-profile match in Ahmedabad, and has called it an indirect message to Pakistan not to participate in the World Cup. He has also pointed out that if the match were to be held in Chennai or Kolkata, it would have made more sense.

Sethi said โ€œCertainly there seems to be a political angle to this because if thereโ€™s one city where we might have security issues, itโ€™s Ahmedabad,โ€Sethi also pointed out that Ahmedabad could potentially pose security risks and questioned the decision to hold the match there.
