David Warner’s Baggy Green Cap gets stolen ahead Of his Farewell Test In Sydney.

Australian veteran opener David Warner, gearing up for his final Test against Pakistan in Sydney from January 3, has turned to social media to seek help in recovering his lost backpack. The bag, housing his cherished baggy green, went missing during the journey from Melbourne to Sydney. Despite notifying airlines and airport authorities, Warner remains without answers as security tapes review yielded no results.

In a final effort, he offers a spare backpack in exchange for the return of his baggy green and other belongings, reassuring no consequences for the person responsible.

Warner posted a video on his Instagram account saying “Unfortunately this is my last resort, to do this. Unfortunately someone has taken my backpack out of my actual luggage, which had my backpack and my girls’ presents in there. Inside this backpack was my baggy greens, That’s sentimental to me, it’s something I would love to have back in my hands, walking out there come this week. If it’s the backpack you really wanted, I have a spare one here. You won’t get into any trouble… I’m happy to give this to you if you return my baggy greens.”

For a player, a Test cap holds immense value, especially in Warner’s case, as he prepares to don it for the last time in his illustrious career.
