Glenn Maxwell admitted to hospital after getting drunken at night in Adelaide.

Cricket Australia is conducting an investigation after Glenn Maxwell was transported to the hospital in an ambulance following a night of excessive drinking in Adelaide.

The incident occurred during his visit to a pub where the legendary cricketer Brett Lee and his band, Six and Out, were performing. Maxwell, after consuming a substantial amount of alcohol, was subsequently taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in an ambulance from the pub.

Despite the incident, Maxwell did not stay overnight at the hospital and promptly resumed training for the upcoming T20 series against the West Indies after being discharged

It’s noteworthy that Maxwell was recently omitted from the ODI team for the matches against the West Indies. Additionally, he resigned from the position of Melbourne Stars’ captain due to unsatisfactory results in the Big Bash League 2024.
