“Hardik Pandya’s poor form of late has gone under the radar”, Aakash Chopra over Hardik Pandya performance over recent time.

Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has recently brought attention to the dip in form experienced by all-rounder Hardik Pandya in recent months. As the skipper of the Gujarat Titans (GT), Pandya had a rather underwhelming 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, struggling to make a significant impact with both bat and ball. Furthermore, he is currently facing challenges in finding his rhythm while representing the national team, just ahead of the ODI World Cup.

Apart from discussing Pandya’s form, Aakash Chopra also shed light on the predicament regarding his batting position in the team. Finding the right spot for Pandya in the batting order has been a topic of concern, and it has played a role in his recent struggles

Additionally, Chopra highlighted the selection dilemma between Shardul Thakur and Umran Malik for a spot in the playing XI. Both players have shown promise and delivered commendable performances in recent times, making it a tough decision for the team management to choose the right candidate.

Aakash Chopra on his YT channel said “Hardik Pandya’s poor form of late has gone under the radar. He did not have a great IPL. Personally, I don’t see clarity in his batting position. Shardul is well ahead of Umran Malik at this stage. But, to be fair, Umran is not getting a chance as well. He is only been given a couple of overs.”
