“I am doing it because my fans have loved my new hairstyle” – MS Dhoni on keeping long-hair style

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni recently discussed the possibility of reverting to his iconic long-hair appearance from earlier in his career. The cricket legend had, at the start of this year, embraced a distinct look by growing his hair long and incorporating some highlights.

While sharing insights into the challenges of maintaining such a hairstyle, Dhoni acknowledged that the extended grooming process for shoots is now a considerable aspect of his routine. He attributed his decision to retain the long hair to the overwhelming support from his fans who admired the unconventional style. Despite expressing his attachment to the current look, the seasoned wicketkeeper-batsman hinted that he might switch back to his shorter styles unexpectedly.

Dhoni said “Earlier, when I went for ad films, I usually used to get ready in 20 minutes. Everything from the make-up to the hair would get done in those 20 minutes and I would be ready for the shoot. Now, it takes one hour and five minutes. So, it is a bit boring sitting on a chair and just waiting, but I am doing it because my fans have loved my new hairstyle.
