Irfan Pathan advocates the inclusion of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in India’s T20 World Cup squad, emphasizing the importance of their seasoned expertise.
As the Men in Blue gear up for a three-match T20I series against Afghanistan, with the inaugural match scheduled for January 11 in Mohali, the certainty of Kohli and Rohit’s involvement in the selectors’ plans remains unclear.
Pathan, participating in a discussion on Star Sports, expressed his belief that the duo’s experience would be invaluable for India’s T20 World Cup campaign.
“I personally want to see him because if we talk about two years ago, he didn’t have the form, but his last IPL was amazing. On West Indian pitches, and you will go to America, there is a little unknown area there, so you might need experience there,It will be up to what the team management is thinking and what Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are thinking currently, their focus and fitness, but I personally want to see both these players, said Irfan Pathan.
