Jos Hazlewood Praises Mohammed Siraj.
The recently concluded 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) witnessed outstanding performances from players across the globe. Among them, Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood expressed his admiration for his Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammate Mohammed Siraj. Hazlewood lauded Siraj’s remarkable display in the cash-rich league. Now, the talented bowler is set to take on Australia in the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 final, commencing on June 7 at The Oval in London.
Speaking highly of Siraj’s skills, Hazlewood emphasized that the Indian bowler was performing exceptionally well and displayed impressive control. The 32-year-old Australian further highlighted Siraj’s ability to compete at a high level in all the key statistical categories that define a bowler’s performance.
Hazlewood remarked “I was a bit late getting there (to RCB this year), but before then he was on fire. His control was great and he is bowling well, He is up there at the top of the wickets every time, and the economy rate was probably the thing as bowling at Chinnaswamy (RCB’s home ground) is impossible sometimes and he was going at six or six-and-a-half an over,.”
