“No one’s comments really matter”, Waqar Younis gives a reply to Sourav Ganguly’s ‘India won one-sided against Pakistan’ statement on recent India-Pakistan clashes.

Former Pakistan cricketer Waqar Younis has recently addressed Sourav Ganguly’s remarks regarding India’s one-sided victories against Pakistan in recent years. The intense and high-profile India vs. Pakistan matches have always garnered immense attention and enthusiasm not only in both nations but also worldwide. Although the two teams have not engaged in bilateral series, their clashes in major global tournaments continue to draw packed stadiums and capture the cricketing world’s imagination.

Ganguly said There is a lot of hype in this match but the quality has not been that good for a long time because India kept on winning one-sided. Pakistan probably defeated India for the first time in the T20 World Cup in Dubai.”

In response to Ganguly’s comments, Waqar Younis acknowledged that India has had the upper hand in some of the recent encounters between the two teams. He recognized that the Indian cricket team has displayed exceptional skills and performances during those matches, resulting in dominant victories over Pakistan.

Waqar Younis said “I don’t want to comment on that. I feel we have had good games. The match that Pakistan won was pretty one-sided (in 2021 T20 WC). But the ones we lost were pretty close as well. So, you can say anything you want, the matches between India and Pakistan are the biggest in the world. When the scale of the game is that big, no one’s comments really matter.”
