Former South Africa and Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Shaun Pollock has praised the exceptional performance of the defending champions, the Gujarat Titans (GT), in the IPL 2023. Pollock has expressed his confidence in the team’s ability to achieve the rare feat of winning back-to-back titles, making them only the third team in the history of the IPL to accomplish this milestone.

They became the first team to secure a place in the playoffs this season, finishing the league stage with an impressive 20 points, courtesy of 10 victories from 14 matches.
