Pakistan Board Requests ICC Regarding The Participation Of India In The ICC Champions Trophy In 2025.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reportedly made a request to the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the participation of Team India in the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025. The PCB has urged the ICC to ensure that India travels to Pakistan for the tournament, as Pakistan is willing to travel to India for the upcoming ODI World Cup to be held there.

The request was presented to ICC Chairman Greg Barclay and chief executive Geoff Allardice by the PCB. This move comes after the PCB recently expressed their concerns and warned of a possible boycott of the ODI World Cup. The boycott threat arose due to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refusing to visit Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023, scheduled to take place in September 2023.

The issue of hosting rights for the Asia Cup 2023 has been a matter of discussion for several months. Despite ongoing deliberations, a final decision on the matter is yet to be reached, leaving the situation unresolved at present.
