Rajat Patidar fails to deliver, dissapointed fans again by getting dismissed on duck in 3rd IND vs ENG Test.

Rajat Patidar lost his wicket on Day 3 of the ongoing third Test between India and England in Rajkot on Saturday, February 17. With this dismissal, Patidar succumbed to a 10-ball duck after only managing five runs in the first innings.

The event occurred during the 48th over of Indiaโ€™s second innings, right on the stroke of stumps. Tom Hartley delivered a length ball outside off, and the right-hander attempted a short-arm jab, only to find Rehan Ahmed at mid-wicket. The cameras swiftly captured head coach Rahul Dravid’s displeased reaction to the dismissal.

Patidar’s wicket marked England’s second breakthrough after centurion Yashasvi Jaiswal retired hurt due to back spasms. For those unfamiliar, Patidar had previously scored 32 and nine in his two innings during his debut in the preceding Test. He is now expected to make way for KL Rahul in the next Test.
