India’s cricket captain, Rohit Sharma, found himself on the wrong side of the law with three traffic challans for speeding on the Mumbai-Pune expressway ahead of the 2023 World Cup match against Bangladesh.

The 36-year-old cricketer received these digital traffic fines due to his excessive speeding.According to the Pune Mirror, Rohit Sharma was clocked driving at a speed exceeding 200km/hr as he headed from his hometown of Mumbai to join the team for their match at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

He made this high-speed journey in his Lamborghini, a luxury car worth ₹4.18 crore, notable for bearing the number plate 264 – a nod to his highest score in international cricket. This five-seater automobile boasts a 3999 cc engine, providing it with an impressive top speed of 305 km/hr.
