Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan showcased his exceptional skills on the cricket field during the ODI World Cup 2023, playing an outstanding unbeaten inning of 131 runs against Sri Lanka. Despite battling leg cramps, the right-handed batsman led Pakistan to their highest successful run chase in the history of the ODI World Cup.

After the remarkable victory, Rizwan expressed his feelings, stating, “It’s always a moment of immense pride whenever you perform for your country. I’m at a loss for words right now. It was a challenging match. Following our bowling innings, we returned to the field with unwavering confidence. Unfortunately, Babar Azam was dismissed early, but we forged valuable partnerships thereafter. The pitch was in our favor, supporting our cause. I advised Shafique to take it step by step. Sometimes its cramps, and at sometimes times, Its acting as well (chuckles).”
