Siraj’s remarkable performances against Sri Lanka and South Africa have catapulted him to the pinnacle of the rankings, with an impressive 709 rating points.
However, Siraj remains vocal about his primary objective, which is to lead Team India to victory in the World Cup. He is content with his recent performances, as they have significantly contributed to the Men in Blue’s success, aligning with his belief that winning matches is of utmost importance.

Siraj said “To be honest, I was No. 1 for some time and since then I have also been up and down the rankings. So this number doesn’t really matter to me. The goal is to help India win the World Cup. I just hope that my performance helps the team achieve that goal.”
