Shubman Gill stunned RCB and knocked them out the IPL 2023. Virat Kohli brilliant century went in vain and got overshadowed by Shubman Gill’s knock. Sunil Gavaskar appreciated Shubman for the knock he played against RCB.

Gavaskar said “What we should be talking about is Shubman Gill’s batting because he got a hundred under pressure. I don’t think we should be concerned about the selection for T20 because the next T20I, at least as far as the World Cup is concerned is more than a year away.

“So I don’t think we should be too concerned about it because what that man Shubman Gill did yesterday (Sunday) was simply breathtaking. To be able to bat better than what Virat Kohli had done takes something special and that’s what he did,”
