(Watch) David Warner lands in the middle of SCG from a helicopter for BBL match after attending his brother wedding.
David Warner, a legend in contemporary cricket, made a remarkable entrance at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) prior to the BBL clash between Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers on Friday. The Australian opener arrived in a helicopter, having flown in directly from his brother’s wedding. The helicopter touched down on the outfield, near the spot where the ‘Thanks Dave’ logo had been painted during his farewell Test match.
Here is the video of David Warner arriving in the Helicopter.
The upcoming BBL fixture will feature Steve Smith representing Sydney Sixers. In an interview with Channel 7, Warner expressed his dedication, saying, “I’ve made every effort to be here and contribute by putting some runs on the board. While there’s a risk of looking a bit foolish if I don’t perform, my aim is to make a meaningful contribution not only to the BBL but also to Australian cricket. I’m eager to be on the field, entertain the fans, and assist our team in winning the next three games.”
