Legendary England seamer James Anderson achieved a significant milestone by securing his 700th Test wicket during Day 3 of the fifth Test against India in Dharamsala.

The right-arm bowler reached this historic feat by dismissing Kuldeep Yadav in the 124th over of the innings, joining Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne as the only bowlers to achieve this milestone. Anderson’s pivotal wicket came early in his bowling spell on Day 3, enticing Kuldeep Yadav into an edge that was easily caught by Ben Foakes.

Prior to this achievement, Anderson had claimed his 699th wicket by dismissing Shubman Gill on Day 2. Despite India’s strong batting performance led by Gill and Rohit Sharma, Anderson’s persistence paid off as he contributed to England’s efforts to contain the hosts.

Here is the moment when Jimmy Anderson reached 700 wickets.
