Observers have caught glimpses of Dhoni honing his batting skills, notably wielding a bat adorned with a ‘Prime Sports’ sticker. This emblem holds significance as Prime Sports is a retail outlet located in Ranchi, owned by Dhoni’s longtime friend, Paramjit Singh.

In an interview with Aaj Tak, Paramjit shared his pride in exhibiting a bat autographed by Dhoni, underscoring the deep bond between them, saying “I am feeling very proud of him! He has always been there for us, and this is our friendship. MSD gifted me this bat.”

In the IPL 2023 finale, Dhoni led the CSK squad to victory against the Gujarat Titans (GT), clinching their fifth championship title in a thrilling encounter decided by the DLS method.
