Zaheer Khan is better than James Anderson: Ishant Sharma.

Ishant Sharma, the Indian fast bowler, recently expressed his opinion in a podcast that Zaheer Khan is a superior fast bowler compared to England’s James Anderson. While Anderson holds the impressive record of being the third-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket history, with 686 wickets from 180 matches at an average of 26.11, Zaheer concluded his Test career with 311 wickets in 92 games, averaging 32.94.

According to Ishant, Anderson’s bowling style and approach differ significantly due to the contrasting playing conditions in England. He believes that Anderson may not have achieved the same level of success in Test cricket if he had played on Indian soil.

Ishant said “Jimmy Anderson’s bowling style and method is quite different. He plays in different conditions in England. May be if he played in India… Zak is better than Jimmy Anderson,”.
