“I don’t want to say anything about it” – Yashasvi Jaiswal reacts on Ben Duckett’s ‘take some credit’ statement.

England batter Ben Duckett stirred controversy during the recent India versus England Test series, not for his on-field performance, but for his surprising comments made during a press conference. Duckett suggested that Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal’s remarkable performance in the series was influenced by the Bazball gameplay, pioneered by the England team under the leadership of Ben Stokes and head coach Brendon McCullum.

Jaiswal’s exceptional batting display, particularly his double century in Rajkot, where he scored an unbeaten 214 runs with 12 sixes and 14 boundaries, left the English bowlers struggling. Duckett implied that England deserved some credit for inspiring Jaiswal’s aggressive style of play, saying “When you see players from the opposition playing like that, it almost feels like we should take some credit that they’re playing differently than how other people play Test cricket“
