Despite the disruption, Babar managed to contribute with the bat, scoring 31 runs off 26 deliveries as Peshawar posted 179/8 in their allotted 20 overs. However, Multan fell short in their chase, getting bowled out for 174, resulting in a narrow five-run victory for Peshawar. This win marked Peshawar’s first victory of the tournament after three matches, while Multan suffered their first loss following three consecutive wins.

Babar Azam’s exceptional form throughout the season is noteworthy, having amassed 171 runs at an impressive average of 57 and a strike rate of 143.69. His performance will be crucial as Peshawar Zalmi prepares to face the Lahore Qalandars on Sunday, February 25, in their upcoming fixture.
